8 - Review of Common Sense Media App
Teachers today need to incorporate different types of media into the classroom. One of the biggest reasons that teachers have a hard time doing so is that it can be very difficult to find age-appropriate materials for students. As media in the classroom becomes more and more common, so do the resources by which teachers can find good material. One good resource is the Common Sense Media app which is also called "Kids Media." It can be used to sort movies, games, apps, websites, tv shows, books, and music by the age of child the item is most appropriate for. Similarly, it is possible to input the age of the students, which the app uses to produce a list of appropriate items and their reviews. It practically takes all the uncertainty out of searching for media.
